I would just like to thank the site administrator for maintaining such a beautiful and helpful site. It is very rare to find a Buddhist website that incorporates both correct information on Buddhist philosophy and useful information on Buddhist practice.

I'm very grateful in particular for the sections on how to respond to problematic emotions, since this is something I continually struggle with. It's very nice to be able to access a collection of Buddhist advice when I am caught up in a samsaric whirlwind.

Also, from what I have seen so far this is one of the most civil Buddhist forums I have ever encountered. Most of the forums I have found on Buddhism are filled with arrogant, self-appointed experts and lots of personal or sectarian squabbling. Overall these forums seem to be free of both.

So please accept a big thank you from this amateur scholar-practitioner. Smile

I'll second that! Cool

This is one of the only forums I visit now. So far, I think that I can see the intention of the folks here is generally a good one, with thoughts towards learning and uderstanding as opposed to many other forums that I have visited.

I've heard some teachers reccomend "not too much internet" and after a while I can see why!

Good Job

Well, I admit I check other Buddhist forums every now and then - just because of these very same reasons stated up. Because I can't help being curious why most of the people always seem to behave like...well, people.

So I guess, not too much Internet is a good advice.
