I got this, this morning, from Temple.

"I am not sure if you are aware of the huge Hindu animal sacrifice, the Gadimai animal sacrifice festival, in the south of Nepal on November 24th. Some 500,000 animals, buffaloes, chickens, goats, pigs, rats and other birds are to be sacrificed. These precious animals will be tortured in the most horrific ways. I have emailed Khenchen for practice advice and he told me to do the Avolokitesvara in the six realm practice and accumulate lots of Mani mantras and dedicate for them. Thought you would like to know so you could practice for them also. Feel free to forward to others who may be interested in practicing for the benefit of these animals and for those who are creating these negative actions.
Thanks so much,

Yes, that`s true.

I was writing about this in the `General` part of this forum last week.

I find it great, that first time in `recorded history` there is protest against the slaughter.

Even Brigitte Bardot wrote letters to the Nepalese Prime Minister Wink
